Jeeno Thitikul once again demonstrated her quality as one of the top golfers on the LPGA Tour. The Thai athlete successfully won the 2026 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei in Hawaii on Sunday, 4 October 2026.

This victory marks Jeeno Thitikul's fourth LPGA Tour title during the 2026 season, as well as the 11th career win across her tenure on the tour.

Jeeno closed the final round with a score of 4-under 68. She finished the tournament on a combined total of 21-under 267, three strokes ahead of South Korean golfer Ina Yoon, who claimed second place.

Jeeno did not secure this win easily. The 23-year-old briefly lost her two-stroke lead after recording a double bogey on the 16th hole.

This setback allowed Ina Yoon to level the scores, setting up a tense battle across the final two holes of the tournament.

Jeeno responded with exceptional composure. She sank an approximate 20-foot putt for birdie on the 17th hole, before converting another birdie on the final 18th hole.

These consecutive birdies created an immediate two-stroke swing, pulling Jeeno clear once more to lock in the three-stroke winning margin.

"I still don't know How I pulled that off, but this was such a great fight against Ina. She played absolutely flawless golf on the front nine," Jeeno commented.

No Panic After The Double Bogey

The 16th hole briefly became Jeeno's lowest point of the tournament. After her tee shot landed in the water, she was forced to take the double bogey and surrender the lead she had built up.

Yet Jeeno refused to let this mistake unravel her performance for the remaining holes.

"I knew the 16th hole had gone terribly. All I thought was 'Goodness, that was such a bad hole for me'. But I told myself there were still two holes left. Anything can happen. I could still come back as long as I stayed in control of every shot," Jeeno explained.

This mindset paid off perfectly. The back-to-back birdies on the final two holes let Jeeno regain full control of the tournament and close out the event in convincing fashion.

4th Title Equals Nelly Korda's Season Record

Success in Hawaii further underlines Jeeno's remarkable consistency throughout the 2026 season.

Prior to this win, she had already claimed victory at the Honda LPGA Thailand in February, Mizuho Americas Open in May, and Standard Portland Classic in August.

With the LOTTE Championship trophy added to her haul, Jeeno now holds four LPGA Tour wins this season. This tally matches Nelly Korda as the joint-most successful player on the LPGA Tour for 2026.

The Hawaii title also brings Jeeno's career LPGA Tour win count to 11, since she first joined the tour in 2022.

Beyond the titles, this result further cements her status as one of the most consistent players on the circuit. Jeeno currently sits 2nd in the official world rankings, just behind Nelly Korda.

Jeeno Closes In On Ariya's National Record

With this 11th career win, Jeeno now sits just one title away from the all-time record for most LPGA Tour victories by a female Thai golfer.

This record is currently held by Ariya Jutanugarn, who has 12 tour wins to her name.

It means Jeeno only requires one more trophy to equal the achievement of her fellow Thai golfing senior.

On the back of her 2026 form, the rivalry between Jeeno and Korda continues to emerge as the most compelling narrative on the tour, with both athletes establishing themselves as the dominant title contenders this season.

Following the Hawaii event, the LPGA Tour will now move to its Asian swing. The Buick LPGA Shanghai is scheduled as the opening tournament of this leg, Running 15-18 October 2026.

There remains a long stretch of the 2026 season ahead for Jeeno. But one thing is already clear: this Thai golfer is currently operating at the absolute peak of her abilities.
