Persib Bandung will host three home matches throughout October at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, West Java. This decision was made as maintenance works for the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) pitch are still ongoing.
Persib is scheduled to play a series of critical fixtures this month. Two of these are Super League 2026/27 matches, while the remaining fixture is part of the AFC Champions League Two.
Adhitia Putra Herawan, Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, stated that the venue relocation was arranged to allow full, uninterrupted completion of the GBLA maintenance process.

"This decision was taken to allocate sufficient time to finalise the GBLA pitch maintenance, so that the stadium can return to operation with an optimised playing surface," Adhitia stated in an official release.
Persib's three home matches will open against Dewa United in the 2026/27 Super League on 11 October. Three days later, Maung Bandung will return to home turf to host Viettel FC for the AFC Champions League Two on 14 October.
The run of fixtures at Si Jalak Harupat will conclude with a Super League match against Persik Kediri on 18 October. This means Persib will play three consecutive home matches within the span of one week at the stadium.
The decision to remain using Si Jalak Harupat was made after club management conducted an inspection of GBLA's condition on Tuesday 29 September. Assessment results confirmed the pitch has shown positive improvement compared to its condition when used the previous month.
Even so, management will not rush to resume holding matches at GBLA. Full completion of all maintenance works remains the top priority, to ensure the pitch is properly ready to accommodate high-intensity competitive matches.
"With this timeline, Persib is expected to return to hosting home matches at GBLA starting November, pending final confirmation of the pitch's full readiness," he stated.
For both Persib and the Bobotoh supporters, GBLA is far more than just a competition venue. The atmosphere from the stands and direct fan support form an integral part of Maung Bandung's home match identity.
For this reason, management hopes maintenance works can be completed as scheduled, allowing Persib to return to GBLA once the October Match Schedule concludes.
For the time being, Si Jalak Harupat will serve as Persib's home ground for these three matches across separate competitions, all of which will require full backing from the Bobotoh fanbase.
"Management hopes the GBLA maintenance works can be completed properly, so that this stadium can once again be the place where Persib and the Bobotoh build that signature home match atmosphere," he concluded.
