North London Legends beat United Legends 3-2, with Pennant's free kick goal becoming the match decider.

North London Legends emerged victorious in the clash of Football Legends titled Champions Impact In Jakarta: The Rivalry Returns. Played at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta on Saturday, North London Legends defeated United Legends by a score of 3-2 in a tightly contested match that went down to the final minute.

This match brought back numerous big names from World Football. Despite being an exhibition legends match, both sides delivered an exciting contest that featured five goals, multiple dangerous chances, and impressive saves from the goalkeepers.

United Legends got off to an attacking start and took the lead just five minutes into the match. Ashley Young opened the scoring after converting a pass from Carlos Tevez.

The goal originated from Tevez's run that beat the offside trap. After finding open space, he played the ball through to Young who finished past Petr Cech. United Legends went ahead 1-0.

This lead did not last long however. North London Legends equalised in the 10th minute through Emmanuel Adebayor.

The goal came from a corner kick that Nemanja Vidic failed to clear properly. The ball dropped to an unmarked Adebayor who made no mistake with the finish. The score became 1-1.

The match opened up further. United Legends attempted to retake the lead through Ryan Giggs in the 20th minute, but his shot was well saved by Cech. Another chance for Tevez six minutes later also failed to find the net, only resulting in a corner.

Instead, North London Legends turned the game around in the 28th minute. Santi Cazorla put his side ahead 2-1 after finishing off a pass from Ashley Cole.

United Legends pushed for an equaliser, but chances for Giggs in the 39th minute and Tevez in the 42nd minute both went unconverted.

Coming into the second half, United Legends dominated possession. They repeatedly probed for openings inside North London Legends' dangerous final third area.

This pressure finally paid off in the 64th minute. Starting with a cross from Antonio Valencia on the right flank, the ball found substitute Radamel Falcao.

The striker nicknamed El Tigre turned sharply before firing a left-footed shot past North London Legends Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, who could not stop the effort. The score was once again level at 2-2.

North London Legends only needed 10 minutes to retake the lead however. A Free kick from Jermaine Pennant in the 74th minute put his side back ahead 3-2.

United Legends got an immediate chance to respond one minute later. Tevez stepped up for a free kick, but Fabianski produced a fine save to preserve North London Legends' lead.

Falcao tried to rescue United Legends from defeat, but his 80th minute chance from Giggs' cross also failed to hit the back of the net.

When the final whistle blew, North London Legends held on to their 3-2 advantage.

Goals from Adebayor, Cazorla and Pennant secured the win in this nostalgic exhibition match held in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, United Legends were left to accept defeat despite having equalised twice over the course of the match.
