Persija's perfect winning streak consistency is put to the test by Persita, while Persib and Persik chase full match points.

Persija Jakarta face a test to preserve their perfect record when they travel away to Persita Tangerang for the fifth matchweek of the BRI Super League 2026/2027. Meanwhile, both Persib Bandung and Persik Kediri will be chasing full points when they meet at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency.

This fifth Super League matchweek is scheduled to run from Friday through Sunday, with two high-profile fixtures between top-table sides headlining the round.

Persija are looking to hold their position at the top of the standings, while Persib are working to fix their inconsistent domestic league form.

Persija will face Persita at Banten International Stadium, Serang on Saturday 17 October at 19.00 WIB. Nicknamed Macan Kemayoran, they enter this fixture with four consecutive wins under their belt, having previously beaten Borneo FC, Persib Bandung, Java United and PSIM Yogyakarta.

This winning run puts Persija first in the provisional standings with 12 points from 4 matches, one point clear of second-placed Dewa United.

Maintaining their perfect record at Persita's home ground will be no simple challenge. Persita also remain unbeaten through their first four matches this season, and will look to leverage home advantage playing in front of their own supporters.

Led by head coach Carlos Pena, Persita currently sit 5th in the table with 8 points. They have secured wins against Java United and Garudayaksa FC, and earned draws against PSIM Yogyakarta and PSM Makassar in their remaining fixtures.

This track record confirms Persita have the quality to put up strong resistance against Persija. If they take all three points, the Pendekar Cisadane will climb the standings and end Persija's winning streak at the same time.

In another featured match, Persib will host Persik Kediri at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium on Sunday 18 October at 19.00 WIB. As defending league champions, the side nicknamed Maung Bandung badly need a win to get their 2026/27 Super League campaign back on track.

While Persib have posted positive form in continental Asian competitions, their domestic league performances have remained inconsistent. Across four league matches so far, Persib have only recorded two wins, one draw and one defeat.

Taking maximum points this matchweek will give Persib the chance to return to winning ways and improve their league position, with home ground advantage offering them a good opportunity to lock in three points.

However, Persik will not travel just to defend. Known as the White Tigers, they are looking to carry momentum after defeating Madura United the previous matchweek, and aim to disrupt their hosts' form.

Persik currently sit 7th with 7 points from four matches. They hold the exact same points total as 8th-placed Persib, but hold a superior goal difference.

Persib need a win to climb the standings, while Persik have the chance to break into the top half of the table if they can once again return with full points.

Alongside these two headline matches, the fifth matchweek will feature a number of other exciting contests: PSIM Yogyakarta will face PSM Makassar, Java United will meet Bali United, and Madura United will take on Bhayangkara FC.

Other fixtures will see Garudayaksa FC host Arema FC, before the matchweek concludes with Persebaya Surabaya facing off against PSS Sleman.
