UEFA Nations League: Spain Defeat Croatia, England Thrash Czech Republic

The Spain National Football Team and England both secured victories on the fourth matchday of UEFA Nations League Group A3. La Roja maintained their perfect record after coming from behind to beat Croatia 2-1, while England thrashed the Czech Republic 3-0 at Wembley.
Spain had to fight hard at Poljud Stadium, Split, on Wednesday WIB. Croatia took control early and opened the scoring through Ivan Perisic in the 14th minute.
Perisic capitalised on a loose rebound inside Spain's penalty box to put Croatia 1-0 up. The hosts had a chance to extend their lead, but Igor Matanovic's strike was denied by Spanish Goalkeeper Unai Simon.

Italy defeated Turkey 3-1, moving up to second position in Group A1 of the UEFA Nations League.

After the half-time break, Spain stepped up the pressure. Wave after wave of attacks were launched at Croatia's defence, until Dani Olmo eventually created the opening for the equalising goal.
Olmo's 61st minute delivery was converted by Mikel Merino into a goal. The scoreline became 1-1, and momentum gradually shifted in Spain's favour.
The situation turned even more favourable for La Roja when Croatia lost Perisic in the 81st minute. The Croatian winger received his second yellow card and was sent off the pitch.
Spain took full advantage of their numerical superiority. Merino found the back of the net once again in the 88th minute, completing the comeback to put La Roja 2-1 ahead.
This score stood until the final whistle. With this result, Spain have collected 12 points from four matches, retaining their top position in Group A3.
Croatia sit in third place with 3 points.
England Thrash Czech Republic
Meanwhile, England had a far more comfortable outing as they hosted the Czech Republic at Wembley Stadium, London. The Three Lions ran out 3-0 winners courtesy of an own goal from Vladimir Coufal and a brace from captain Harry Kane.
England threatened first through Trent Alexander-Arnold, but his free kick was safely gathered by goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek.
England's deadlock was broken in the 27th minute. Coufal misjudged an incoming ball and accidentally turned it into his own net, Putting England 1-0 up.
Just before half time, England doubled their advantage. Morgan Rogers delivered an accurate cross which Kane finished off in the 40th minute.
Shortly after the restart, Kane almost added another goal with a powerful strike that rattled the crossbar.
In the 57th minute, Kane did register his second goal, heading the ball cleanly into the Czech net. England went 3-0 up and proceeded to control the rest of the match comfortably.
The Three Lions maintained their dominance until full time. This win takes England to 9 points from four matches, putting them in second place, 3 points behind leaders Spain.
Meanwhile, the Czech Republic remain rooted to the bottom of Group A3, having failed to pick up a single point after four matches. The battle at the top of the group is now effectively a two-horse race between Spain and England.
