Super League Result: Persija Jakarta Crushes PSIM Yogyakarta, Run Riot with 4 Unanswered Goals

Persija Jakarta showed their sharp form as they defeated PSIM Yogyakarta with a dominant 4-0 scoreline in the fourth matchweek of Super League 2026/2027. Playing at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul on Saturday 10 October, the Kemayoran Tigers ended the home side's resistance by scoring all four goals after the halftime break.
This victory was not achieved easily. Persija were held goalless throughout the first half before they managed to find weaknesses in PSIM's defence.
PSIM applied early pressure at the start of the match. The home team attempted to take attacking initiative, but could not break through Persija's solid defensive line.

Shin Tae-yong is not yet satisfied even though Persija Jakarta have won all three of their opening matches in the Super League.
Persija did not rush into an open, end-to-end game. Shin Tae-yong's squad chose to build attacks gradually while maintaining tight defensive organisation.
Persija created several scoring chances, but none resulted in a goal before halftime.
Entering the second half, Persija played with far greater efficiency. Their attacks became more targeted and match intensity rose, though their opening goal was initially delayed by a referee ruling.
In the 55th minute, Arlyansyah Abdulmanan successfully found the back of PSIM's net. However, following consultation with the Video Operation Room (VOR) team, the referee disallowed the goal after ruling Arlyansyah was in an offside position.
Persija did not lose their momentum, continuing to press forward until they finally broke the deadlock in the 77th minute through Alexander Jeremejeff.
Jeremejeff's goal was also reviewed with the VOR team. This time, the referee confirmed the goal stood.
Persija extended their lead just four minutes later. Stjefan Loncar scored the Kemayoran Tigers' second goal in the 81st minute, converting an assist from Kerim Memija.
Trailing by two goals, PSIM's defence began to collapse under Persija's repeated waves of attack.
In the 87th minute, Kwon Chang Hoon stretched Persija's advantage to 3-0 with a precise strike into the corner of the goal. The South Korean international's goal completed a run of three Persija goals scored inside a 10 minute window.
As PSIM grew completely unable to mount a comeback, Persija added one final goal during stoppage time, at the 90+4 minute mark.
Loncar scored his second goal of the match with a calm, controlled finish, locking in Persija's final 4-0 victory.
This result lifts Persija to the top of the provisional league Standings, holding 12 points from four matches played.
In other fixtures, Persita Tangerang secured a 2-1 win over Garudayaksa at Banten International Stadium. Meanwhile, Arema FC came back from a two goal deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against Bhayangkara FC at Kanjuruhan Stadium.
