The Moto3 rider market is heating up as competition builds ahead of the 2027 season. Multiple teams have already announced their rider lineups, however Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama has still not been listed on the provisional roster published by MotoGP.

MotoGP's official website has released the provisional rider and team lineup for the 2027 Moto3 championship. This list confirms a number of major changes, including rider promotions to Moto2 and complete squad overhauls across multiple teams.

Amidst all this movement, Veda's future has become one of the most closely watched topics for Indonesian motorcycle racing fans. The young rider currently competes for Honda Team Asia, which will rebrand to Honda HRC Asia for the upcoming season.

However, Veda's name remains absent from the provisional 2027 Moto3 rider list, leaving confirmation of his future with the team still eagerly awaited.

Veda Ega Pratama Delivers Promising Form During Debut Season

Veda has shown consistent positive progression throughout his first Moto3 campaign in 2026. As of the Pertamina Moto3 2026 round, the Indonesian rider sits 7th in the provisional championship Standings with 115 total points.

This result makes Veda the highest ranked Asian rider in this season's standings, forming strong credentials for the young rider to continue his career on the world racing stage.

Veda's omission from the provisional list does not automatically rule him out for next season, as all published lineups remain unofficial and subject to change at this stage.

All focus now rests on Honda HRC Asia's final decision regarding their 2027 team roster. This confirmation will be highly anticipated by Indonesian racing fans following Veda's world championship journey.

Multiple Moto3 Riders Secure Promotion To Moto2

The 2027 Moto3 rider market has been defined by a wave of rider movements. Reigning 2026 Moto3 Champion Maximo Quiles of Aspar will step up to Moto2, alongside current Intact GP rider David Almansa.

These promotions have opened up grid slots and triggered lineup reshuffles across the entire Moto3 class. Teams who have lost their lead riders are now assembling new squads to compete next season.

Brian Uriarte has been confirmed to remain at KTM Ajo following his 2026 rookie campaign. Uriarte will partner Rico Salmela, while Alvaro Carpe is widely reported to also be moving up to Moto2.

Further changes have been announced at MSI, where Hakim Danish will line up alongside Valentin Perrone, who raced for Tech3 during the 2026 season.

This new pairing brings fresh competitive dynamics for MSI, with both riders set to target consistent form and top positions in the upcoming championship.

Tech3 And Intact GP Announce Full Lineup Overhauls

Tech3 has implemented a complete squad refresh by signing two entirely new riders. After parting ways with Rico Salmela and Valentin Perrone, the team has recruited Adrian Fernandez from Leopard Racing alongside Kristian Daniel Jr.

Kristian is a 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup graduate, where he finished the championship in 4th position. This signing gives the young talent an opportunity to progress onto the Moto3 world championship stage.

Intact GP has also completed a full lineup reset, announcing Jesus Rios and Fernando Bujosa as their 2027 rider pairing following David Almansa's promotion to Moto2.

Elsewhere, Leopard Racing will field Leonardo Zanni and David Gonzalez, while Levelup MTA have also confirmed an all-new rider lineup of Benat Fernandez and Leo Rammerstorfer.

This flurry of announcements confirms preparations for the 2027 Moto3 season are already well underway, even before the 2026 campaign has formally concluded.
