Marc Klok Affirms Persib Bandung Must Win When Hosting Persik Kediri

Persib Bandung captain Marc Klok has confirmed his side are targeting victory when facing Persik Kediri in matchweek 5 of the BRI Super League 2026/27. This fixture is scheduled to kick off at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, at 19:00 WIB on Sunday evening.

Persib need three additional points to maintain their momentum and climb up the provisional league Standings. This target has become all the more critical after Maung Bandung was only able to secure a 2-2 Draw against Dewa United Banten FC in their previous match.

Klok stated every Persib player holds high motivation ahead of this home game. He hopes his squad can deliver their maximum performance to lock in victory in front of their own supporters.

"Kediri is a solid team. They have good players and a clear playing philosophy. Matches against them have always been tough for us over the last few years," he continued.
