Persib vs Isenmulang Result: Maung Bandung Wins Convincingly 4-0 and Closes In on Persija

Persib Bandung ran riot with a goal fest as they hosted Isenmulang Kalteng FC on matchweek eight of the BRI Super League 2026/2027. Playing at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung Regency, West Java on Sunday, Maung Bandung secured a convincing 4-0 victory.

Mariano Peralta opened the scoring for Persib in the 14th minute. Luka Menalo then netted a brace in the 35th and 43rd minutes, before Marc Klok capped off the home side's goal spree with a spectacular strike in the 86th minute.

This positive result lifts Persib to 5th place in the provisional Standings, with 16 points collected from 8 matches. The beloved side of the Bobotoh fanbase has recorded 5 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats so far this campaign.

Persib have also closed the gap on league leaders Persija Jakarta, with just two points now separating the two clubs.

Persib Dominated From Kick Off

Even without head coach Igor Tolic on the touchline, Persib played aggressively right from the first whistle. The home side immediately looked to take control of the game and pin Isenmulang inside their own defensive half.

The first chance of the match arrived before two full minutes had been played. Ragnar Oratmangoen fired a left-footed shot from outside the penalty area, only for the effort to be blocked by the visiting defence.

Persib continued applying pressure through set pieces. In the 12th minute, Julio Cesar met Peralta's free kick with a headed attempt, but his effort flew just over the crossbar of Isenmulang's goal guarded by Lucas Frigeri.

The deadlock was finally broken two minutes later. After building an attacking move involving Luka Menalo, Marc Klok and Beckham, Persib found the breakthrough through Peralta.

The striker unleashed a powerful drive from the edge of the box that left Frigeri with no chance. This opening goal put Persib 1-0 up and allowed the side to play with far greater freedom.

Isenmulang attempted to hit back with a series of chances. A defensive lapse from Persib briefly caused chaos inside their own penalty area, but the visitors failed to convert the situation into a goal.

The away side created another opening in the 29th minute. Ramadan got on the end of a close range opportunity, but could not direct his finish on target.

Luka Menalo Nets First Half Brace

Persib extended their advantage in the 35th minute. Peralta drove into the penalty box and fired a shot that was parried by Frigeri.

The loose rebound fell straight to Menalo, who converted cleanly to double Persib's lead to 2-0.

Isenmulang actually had a golden opportunity to pull one back shortly before half time. In the 39th minute, Adilson Da Silva met Kenji Nishioka's cross with a header, but the effort sailed over Fitrah's crossbar.

Rather than pulling a goal back, Isenmulang conceded once more just before the break. In the 43rd minute, Menalo finished off a perfectly weighted through ball from Marc Klok to register his second goal of the match.

This 3-0 lead meant Persib headed into the half time interval in complete control, while Isenmulang were left needing to completely overhaul their game plan for the second half.

Marc Klok Seals The Victory

Persib made no substitutions at the start of the second half. The hosts continued to dictate the flow of the match, as Isenmulang searched for gaps to launch their own attacks.

Beckham went close in the 59th minute with an effort that cleared the crossbar. One minute later, Barros also attempted a close range finish, but could not find the back of the net.

Beckham threatened again in the 63rd minute, this time Frigeri read the shot well to deny Persib extending their lead further.

The fourth goal finally arrived late in the match. In the 86th minute, Marc Klok produced a spectacular long range strike from outside the penalty area that flew beyond the reach of the Isenmulang Goalkeeper.

This goal confirmed the 4-0 scoreline, and underlined Persib's total dominance over the entire 90 minutes.

Isenmulang pushed for a late consolation goal in the 88th minute. Adilson Da Silva directed a header on target, but Fitrah pulled off a fine save to preserve Persib's clean sheet.

There was no further change to the scoreline before the full time whistle. Persib collected three vital home points, keeping themselves firmly in contention at the top end of the BRI Super League 2026/2027 table.
