French Open 2026: Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin Are Included In Indonesia's Men's Doubles Roster

Indonesian men's doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin have been included in the official player list for the 2026 French Open. This confirmation is positive news, after the 2026 Asian Games gold medalist pair missed the 2026 Denmark Open when Daniel sustained a hand injury during pre-tournament training sessions.

Leo/Daniel are listed on Indonesia's squad for the Paris tournament which will be held 20–25 October 2026. Their inclusion opens the opportunity to return to international competition, after they were forced to skip the BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament in Denmark.

Leo/Daniel's absence from the earlier Denmark Open had drawn public attention, as this pair is counted among Indonesia's leading contenders in the men's doubles sector.

Leo/Daniel Reinstated On Indonesia's Men's Doubles Roster

PBSI has registered Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin to Indonesia's player list for the 2026 French Open. The Paris tournament will be the next scheduled competitive agenda for the pair following their absence from competition in Denmark.

However, being named on the entry list does not automatically confirm Daniel has fully recovered. Progress of his hand injury rehabilitation will remain a critical factor ahead of the tournament matches.

Indonesia will also field other men's doubles pairs. Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri will compete fresh after winning the 2026 Denmark Open title. Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, along with Devin Artha Wahyudi/Ali Faathir Rayhan are also included in the entry list.

Indonesia will send a total of five pairs to compete in the men's doubles sector. Fajar/Fikri's performance following their Denmark Open victory is one of the most anticipated appearances in Paris.

Jonatan Christie and Alwi Farhan Lead Men's Singles Contingent

Beside the men's doubles sector, Indonesia will rely on Jonatan Christie and Alwi Farhan in men's singles. Jonatan enters the tournament as the men's singles world number 1, while Alwi is also listed alongside fellow shuttler Moh Zaki Ubaidillah.

Indonesia will only field one representative in Women's Singles: Putri Kusuma Wardani. Meanwhile, the Women's Doubles sector will be represented by three pairs: Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, as well as Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Indonesia also has two registered pairs for mixed doubles: Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu.

Competition in Paris will provide all athletes an opportunity to test their competitive form, while also chasing best possible results at one of the most prestigious tournaments on the international badminton calendar.
