Indonesia has qualified four representatives to the semi-finals of French Open 2026. Alongside the men's singles category, Indonesia will field two men's doubles pairs and one Women's Doubles pair to compete for a place in the final round of this tournament held in Paris, France.

Out of eight Red and White representatives that competed in the quarter-finals, only four managed to advance to the semi-final stage. The French Open 2026 semi-finals will be held at the Grand Paris Arena on Saturday, 24 October 2026.

Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah emerged as one of the standout performers after securing his spot in the men's singles semi-finals. The men's doubles category contributed two qualifying pairs: Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.

The remaining semi-final ticket was secured by women's doubles pair Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum.

Ubed to Face Host Representative in Semi-Finals

Zaki Ubaidillah, affectionately known as Ubed, progressed to the semi-finals after defeating Taiwanese representative Chi Yu Jen. This Indonesian Men's Singles shuttler claimed victory in two straight games with scores of 21-15, 21-13.

This result advances Ubed to the semi-final round, where he will be drawn against home player Alex Lanier.

This matchup presents Ubed with an opportunity to reach the final, as well as a test of his ability to perform against one of France's top players in front of a home crowd.

Ubed's successful qualification to the semi-finals is a valuable milestone for Indonesia's men's singles campaign.

Should he maintain his composure and carry over the effective gameplay he displayed against Chi Yu Jen, Ubed stands a very strong chance of progressing to the final round.

Both Men's Doubles Pairs Draw Malaysian Opponents

Men's doubles is the category with the most Indonesian representatives remaining in the French Open 2026 semi-finals. Both Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin successfully cleared their quarter-final challenges.

Raymond/Joaquin defeated Chinese pair Hu Ke Yuan/Lin Xiang Yi in the quarter-finals with set scores of 23-21, 21-18.

In the semi-final round, they will face Malaysian pair Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun. This match will be a test of consistency for Raymond/Joaquin following their hard-fought victory over the Chinese side.

Meanwhile, Leo/Daniel also claimed a straight games victory in their quarter-final fixture. They overcame South Korean pair Kang Min-hyuk/Lee Jong-min with scores of 21-14, 21-19.

Next, Leo/Daniel will take on 6th seeded Malaysian pair Sze Fei Goh/Nur Izzuddin in the semi-finals.

With two pairs still in contention, Indonesia holds excellent chances of placing a representative in the men's doubles final.

However, both Raymond/Joaquin and Leo/Daniel will first need to overcome their respective opponents.

Rachel/Febi Drawn Against Japanese Opposition

In the women's doubles category, Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum are the only remaining Indonesian pair to reach the semi-finals. They showed tremendous fighting spirit against Japanese pair Hinata Suzuki/Nao Yamakita.

Rachel/Febi dropped the first set 18-21, before mounting a comeback to take the next two sets 21-16, 21-16 and seal the win.

For the semi-finals, Rachel/Febi will once again face Japanese opposition, this time against Yuki Fukushima/Mayu Matsumoto.

The experience of coming through a three-set quarter-final battle will serve as valuable preparation for Rachel/Febi.

Indonesia's campaign at French Open 2026 has not been without setbacks. Four Indonesian representatives saw their tournament run end at the quarter-final stage.

These eliminated players are Putri Kusuma Wardani in Women's Singles, Alwi Farhan in men's singles, and women's doubles pair Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
