The Indonesian Golf industry is preparing to enter a new chapter through the 2026 Indonesia Golf Festival (IGF). With targets set at 30,000 visitors and IDR 20 billion in transaction value, this exhibition is expected to expand the domestic golf market while driving growth of the national Sports Tourism sector.
IGF 2026 will take place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang, on 23–25 October 2026.
The Indonesian Golf Course Owners Association (APLGI), in partnership with PT Satu Tujuan Event (SATUE), is organising this exhibition to bring together all components of the Golf Industry under one roof. Golf Course owners, equipment manufacturers, professional players, community groups, and even members of the general public curious about the sport will all be provided dedicated space to connect and interact.

According to APLGI Chairman Budiarsa Sastrawinata, Indonesia Golf Festival 2026 is designed to be far more than a standard commercial trade show. This event is intended to act as a unifying platform for all stakeholders, while also strengthening the National Golf Ecosystem.
"This will gather world-class Golf Course operators from across every region of Indonesia, cutting-edge equipment manufacturers, international tour players, local professional golfers, right down to complete beginners," Budiarsa Sastrawinata stated during the official press conference.
Visitor and Transaction Targets
Goals set for Indonesia Golf Festival 2026 are significantly raised from previous editions. APLGI is targeting 30,000 attendees, an increase from the 23,488 visitors recorded at the 2025 event.
On the commercial side, on-site transaction value is targeted to reach IDR 20 billion. This figure is a substantial uplift from 2025 results which fell between IDR 10 billion and IDR 15 billion.
Organisers are also planning for over 120 exhibiting companies, 150 participating brands, and a total exhibition floor space of approximately 10,000 square metres -- double the footprint of the 2025 edition.
The 2025 IGF hosted 82 exhibitors, over 100 brands, and occupied around 5,000 square metres of venue space. This expanded scale is expected to open far greater opportunities for industry players to showcase products, reach new customers, and establish formal Business partnerships.
Bringing Golf Closer to the General Public
Beyond commercial targets, Indonesia Golf Festival 2026 also aims to dismantle the common perception that golf is an exclusive sport reserved only for certain social groups. Through hands-on interactive activities, visitors will be able to experience and learn about golf with no prior playing experience required at all.
A full program of activities has been prepared, including free coaching clinics, amateur competitions, industry talk shows, plus trial access to Golf Simulators and on-site mini golf facilities.
Attendees will be able to view the latest developments in golf equipment technology, compare available products, and learn about dedicated golf Travel and hospitality services.
The exhibition will also feature golf apparel, playing gear, Sports Technology, and all supporting services for the sport. Additional event elements include charity equipment auctions, official product launches, and national golf community meetups.
APLGI emphasises that the potential of golf extends far beyond just sporting activity. Indonesia hosts high quality golf courses across dozens of regions that can function as major tourist attraction assets.
Budiarsa expressed hope that the Indonesia Golf Festival will become a key milestone to align development of the sport with the national Tourism industry. Both sectors are projected to deliver meaningful positive contributions to Indonesia's broader national economic activity.
