Indonesian Badminton is preparing for a series of competitive tournaments across Europe. Indonesia will send 14 representatives to the 2026 Denmark Open in Odense, held 13–18 October, before continuing on to the French Open and Hylo Open over the following two weeks.

The Indonesian squad for this BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament includes entries across men's singles, Women's Singles, men's doubles, Women's Doubles, and mixed doubles.

This lineup gives the Red and White representatives the opportunity to compete across every discipline, while also chasing positive results through this international tournament stretch ahead of the end of the competitive season.

According to the official entry list referenced from the BWF official website, Jonatan Christie, Alwi Farhan, and Moh Zaki Ubaidillah are Indonesia's three representatives in men's singles. Meanwhile, Putri Kusuma Wardani will be Indonesia's sole competing athlete in the women's singles category.

Five Pairs Fielded For Men's Doubles

Men's doubles has the largest Indonesian contingent with five pairs entered. Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri lead the entry list, joined by Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, and Devin Artha Wahyudi/Ali Faathir Rayhan.

With this large contingent, Indonesia has multiple competitive options in the men's doubles discipline. Each pair faces their own unique challenges to maintain consistent performance, especially at Super 750 level tournaments that gather many of the world's top ranked players.

Fajar/Fikri stand out as one pair to watch throughout Indonesia's campaign. The presence of established pairs Leo/Daniel and Sabar/Reza also adds valuable depth to the squad.

Meanwhile, Raymond/Joaquin and Devin/Ali have been granted this opportunity to test their abilities against top international competition.

Competition in this discipline will form a core part of Indonesia's mission at the Denmark Open. Results achieved by the men's doubles representatives will be a major factor determining how far the Indonesian contingent can progress at this opening tournament of the European tour.

Three Women's Doubles Pairs, Two Mixed Doubles Entries

For the women's doubles discipline, Indonesia has fielded three pairs: Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

These three pairs carry Indonesia's hopes to remain competitive in the women's doubles category. The Denmark Open will act as an important benchmark to assess their readiness against seeded pairs from rival nations.

In the mixed doubles discipline, Indonesia will be represented by two pairs: Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu.

With this squad composition, Indonesia is bringing a balanced mix of athletes across all disciplines for this European tournament stretch.

The target is not only to secure the best possible results in Denmark, but also to maintain positive momentum as competition moves on to France and Germany.

Three Tournaments Over Three Consecutive Weeks

The Denmark Open will mark the start of Indonesia's European campaign. This tournament will be held 13–18 October at the SJF Bank Arena in Odense, with official BWF World Tour Super 750 status.

One week later, competition continues with the French Open running 20–25 October. This is also a Super 750 level event, giving Indonesian players another opportunity to compete against elite opposition and refine their performance following their outing in Denmark.

The European stretch will conclude with the Hylo Open, held in Saarbrücken, Germany from 27 October to 1 November. Unlike the two preceding tournaments, the Hylo Open is graded as a Super 500 level event.

This tightly packed schedule will require players to carefully manage their physical condition and recovery periods. Athletes must pace their energy effectively in order to remain competitive across every tournament, particularly for those competing all the way from Denmark through France and Germany.

Altered Indonesian Lineup For Hylo Open

Indonesia will not field an identical squad across the entire European tour. For the Hylo Open, Alwi Farhan, Moh Zaki Ubaidillah, Putri Kusuma Wardani, and the pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri are not scheduled to compete.

As a result of these changes, Indonesia's representative lineup for the German tournament will differ from the squad that competes in Denmark.
Jonatan Christie will be one of the standout names competing at the Hylo Open.

Christie is the defending men's singles champion at the Hylo Open, having won the tournament in 2025. This status means his performance in Germany is set to be one of the major talking points across the entire European tour stretch.
