Bogor – Indonesia Travel Sport Media (ITSMe) marks its first full year of operations with the ITSMe 80’S SPORTFEST 2026 event. This celebration features two sporting competitions: padel and Footgolf, alongside an anniversary ceremony themed around the retro 1980s era.
Carrying the theme One Year, One Team, One Journey, this gathering brings together partners, sponsors, community groups, sports practitioners, and invited guests who have supported ITSMe's growth. Beyond celebrating the organisation's first birthday, this event also serves as a platform to introduce diverse sporting activities to the public community.
Organising the ITSMe 80’S SPORTFEST 2026 required almost two full months of preparation. Planning processes covered tournament logistics, partner coordination, and all technical requirements required to ensure every segment of the event ran according to schedule.

Nearly Two Months of Preparations
Two separate venues were selected to deliver distinct sporting experiences. Padel Tournament was held at FU Padel Sentul, while the footgolf competition took place at Palm Hill Golf Club Bogor.
Padel Tournament at FU Padel Sentul
The competition schedule opened with the Mixed Double Beginner category Padel Tournament at FU Padel Sentul. Participants competed in mixed doubles format, demonstrating individual skill and on-court coordination with their playing partners.
Matches were defined by extended rallies, powerful smashes, and fast-paced ball exchanges. Reaction speed, accurate ball placement, and team chemistry between partners were critical factors to overcome opposing pairs.
Despite the competitive atmosphere, all matches were conducted with full Sportsmanship. This tournament also provided participants the chance to experience padel in an open, high-spirited competitive environment.
Footgolf at Palm Hill Golf Club Bogor
Following the conclusion of the padel matches, the ITSMe 80’S SPORTFEST programme moved to Palm Hill Golf Club Bogor for the footgolf competition.
This sport combines football kicking technique with golf gameplay rules. Participants use their feet to kick a ball into target holes, aiming to complete each hole with the fewest possible attempts.
The challenge is not simply hitting powerful kicks. Players must also calculate distance, judge trajectory, control kick strength, and read course terrain to guide their ball as close as possible to the target.
This unique gameplay delivered a fresh experience for all participants. Footgolf also demonstrated how existing Golf Course facilities can be repurposed for engaging alternative sporting activities, supporting recreational development and Sport Tourism.
1980s Themed Anniversary Ceremony
Once both the padel and footgolf tournaments concluded, celebrations continued with the official ITSMe 1st Anniversary ceremony, held with full 1980s retro theming.
The 1980s atmosphere was brought to life by the retro dress code adopted by all attending guests. Iconic fashion from the decade added a vibrant nostalgic flair to the gathering of partners, sponsors, community representatives, sports figures and invited attendees.
To close out the day, all attendees assembled for the awards presentation session. Prizes were awarded to the winning teams from both the padel and footgolf tournaments, along with recognition for the Best Dress 80’s category.
Winners and selected recipients received trophies, medals, travel vouchers, and cash prizes. The awards session marked the official conclusion of the tournament schedule, and stood as one of the highlight moments of ITSMe's first anniversary celebration.
ITSMe and Vision for Sport Tourism Indonesia
As it enters its second year of operation, ITSMe aims to expand its contribution to the development of sports and tourism across Indonesia. This roadmap includes content development, event organisation, and expanded collaboration with community groups and industry stakeholders.
ITSMe does not intend to operate solely as an information media outlet. Instead, the organisation seeks to act as a bridge connecting communities, sports practitioners, and the Tourism Industry. Through this role, ITSMe aims to help unlock new opportunities for Sport Tourism growth, and showcase Indonesia's potential through sporting activities.

ITSMe 80’S SPORTFEST 2026 formally closed out the first anniversary celebrations for Indonesia Travel Sport Media. Every element of the successful event was only made possible through extensive preparation and cross-team work involving many different parties.
ITSMe extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, partners, sponsors, community groups, invited guests, and every individual who supported the delivery of this event.
