Persija Back on Top Again!: Ivan Mamut's Dramatic 89th-Minute Goal Sees Persija Defeat Persebaya

Persija Jakarta secured a critical victory when hosting Persebaya Surabaya for the 9th matchweek of Super League 2026/2027. Playing at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday evening, 7 November 2026, the Macan Kemayoran side claimed a 1-0 win.

Persija's decisive winning goal was scored by Ivan Mamut late in the match, precisely at the 89th minute. These three additional points lifted Shin Tae-yong's squad to the top of the provisional league Standings, overtaking Dewa United.
