ONIC Still Champion, MPL Indonesia Remains Theirs

ONIC Team proved its fangs once again on the highest stage of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

In the Grand Final of MPL Indonesia Season 16 held in Jakarta last Sunday, the Yellow Porcupine conquered Alter Ego with a convincing 4–1 score, bringing their trophy collection to eight championship titles.

The ONIC squad—Sanz, Skylar, Kairi, Kiboy, and Lutpiii—performed like a winning machine. Despite trailing in the first game after Alter Ego took the lead through Nino's aggressive play with Yu Zhong, ONIC quickly recovered. Kairi countered with his signature Hayabusa in the second game, equalizing the score and shifting the momentum.

After that, everything became a display of dominance. The third game ended swiftly by the 11th minute. The fourth game was one-sided; Alter Ego seemed directionless while ONIC closed with a 12–3 elimination point domination. In the deciding game, Sanz's first blood paved the way. Two turtles were secured, one lord was locked down, and Alter Ego's base crumbled under ONIC's disciplined gameplay pressure.

With this win, ONIC not only maintained their status as rulers of MPL Indonesia but also secured their ticket to the M7 World Championship in Jakarta, January 2026. Alter Ego will join them—two homeland representatives ready to prove that even the world stage isn't too grand for them.
