Persib Takes The Lead First Through Mariano Peralta
Garudayaksa FC started aggressively right from kickoff. The home side pushed to take attacking initiative and put Persib under pressure in pursuit of an early advantage.
However, Persib gradually weathered the early pressure. This paid off in the 16th minute when Mariano Peralta put his name on the scoresheet.
The goal originated from a strike by Luciano Guaycochea that deflected off Uilliam Barros. The loose ball fell to Peralta, who converted the chance cleanly to open the scoring for Persib Bandung.
Peralta received another opportunity to double the lead in the 24th minute. Garudayaksa's defensive line successfully neutralised this threat, only conceding a corner kick.
For the remainder of the first half, Persib maintained attacking pressure to extend their advantage. No further goals arrived before the half time whistle, and Persib headed into the break holding a 1-0 lead.
Jayro Jean Equalises For Garudayaksa
At the start of the second half, Persib retained control of play and continued to press the home defence. Garudayaksa was forced to sit deep and defend against the visitors' structured attacks for long periods.
This dynamic shifted in the 65th minute. Garudayaksa successfully exploited a gap in Persib's backline with a fast counter attack.
Carlos Iury carried the ball down the right flank before playing a cutback cross that was finished first time by Jayro Jean. This strike beat Persib's defence and levelled the score at 1-1.
The equaliser opened the game right back up. Garudayaksa began matching Persib's intensity, while the visiting side kept pushing for a second winning goal.
Persib came very close to retaking the lead in the 70th minute via a Thom Haye free kick, but Garudayaksa Goalkeeper Dominik Holec produced a sharp save to deny the effort.

The contest grew increasingly tense as it entered the final minutes. Garudayaksa were forced to play out the rest of the match with 10 players after Aleksandar Busnic was shown a red card for a foul on Berguinho.
This incident occurred in the 81st minute. Following a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review, the match official confirmed the red card decision against Busnic in the 85th minute.
Persib used their numerical advantage to ramp up attacking pressure. Another chance arrived from a Thom Haye free kick, but Holec reacted quickly once again to parry the ball away for another corner.
Tension continued to rise as regular time expired. Persib head coach Igor Tolic also received a yellow card amid the heated atmosphere on and off the pitch.
As the match entered second half injury time, Persib finally found the winning goal they had been searching for.
Adam Alis met Beckham Putra's cutback pass with an accurate driven finish into the bottom left corner of Garudayaksa's goal. Holec was unable to keep the shot out, making the score 2-1 in favour of Maung Bandung.
This goal confirmed Persib Bandung left Pakansari Stadium with a dramatic late victory. These three additional points provide valuable momentum for Persib as they look to climb higher in the 2026–2027 Super League Standings.
