IGF 2026 Targets 30,000 Visitors
On this third and closing day, visitors remained able to explore the exhibition grounds, view the full range of golf equipment products, and test out the playing experience via the Golf Simulator.
This facility delivers an immersive golf playing experience within a virtual environment. For beginners, the simulator provides an opportunity to practice hitting golf balls and learn the fundamentals of the game. For experienced golfers meanwhile, this technology offers an engaging interactive playing experience outside of physical courses.
IGF 2026 has set a visitor target of 30,000 people, with over 120 exhibiting organisations representing approximately 150 brands across 10,000 square metres of event space.
This event scale demonstrates IGF's efforts to expand the reach of the Golf Industry, while creating dedicated interaction spaces between Business operators, golf communities and the general public.
Through the combination of product exhibitions and interactive activities, the festival caters to all audiences: from complete beginners wanting to try golf for the first time, through to regular players searching for new equipment and unique golf experiences.
GOLF Booth Showcases Managed Golf Course Portfolio
Amidst the busy exhibition floor, the booth for PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk (GOLF) presented the full portfolio of Golf Courses operated by the company.
The company's participation also highlighted the potential of Golf Tourism, which links the sport with the wider Tourism, hospitality and recreation sectors.
With this approach, golf facilities are positioned not just as locations for sport, but as integrated components of broader Tourism experiences.
GOLF's presence at IGF 2026 also served as an opportunity to introduce the company's Business operations to festival visitors, as well as build connections with golf communities and industry stakeholders.
Agro-Tourism Concept Launched At GOLF Booth
GOLF brought a unique new offering to their festival booth this year. Alongside presenting their golf course portfolio, the company also introduced the agricultural tourism concept, an initiative that connects nature-based activities with visitor experiences.
One showcased example is the ongoing agro-tourism development at New Kuta Golf, Bali, where the golf estate now produces melons and cherry tomatoes on site.
Featuring these agricultural products demonstrates the potential for additional value activities within golf estates. This concept re-frames how sport, natural environments and recreation can operate together in an integrated way.
Hari Cahyanto, Corporate Secretary of PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk, attended the festival to explain the company's vision for IGF 2026, as well as share the objectives and outlook behind GOLF's participation.
Live visitor feedback to this new concept also formed part of how the company is communicating golf estate development initiatives to the general public.
Vincent Verhaag Attends IGF 2026
IGF 2026 has drawn attention far beyond golf communities and industry operators. Prominent entrepreneur and public presenter Vincent Verhaag also visited the festival to experience the event first hand.
His appearance formed part of activity on the final day, as attendees continued to explore the full range of booths and try all available activities.
Beyond simply viewing products and new technology, IGF provides visitors with insight into all aspects of Golf as a Sport, including the latest developments in supporting facilities and experiences.
Closing Coverage With The Golf Simulator Experience
After touring the full exhibition area and observing all activities at IGF 2026, the Indonesia Travel Sport Media team had the opportunity to test one of the most popular visitor attractions: the Golf Simulator.
This experience concluded the third day of coverage, and perfectly demonstrated the interactive nature of the festival. Visitors are not just passive observers of displayed equipment or technology – they are able to directly experience virtual golf gameplay for themselves.
Through its combination of exhibition displays, modern technology and forward-thinking golf estate development concepts, IGF 2026 provides multiple new ways for the public to engage with golf, both as a recreational activity and as a growing formal industry.
