Persib Bandung Expresses Deep Condolences, Urges That the Death of the Bobotoh Supporter Be Fully and Thoroughly Investigated.

The management of Persib Bandung is urging law enforcement authorities to conduct a full thorough investigation into the death of Arief Rahman Kusuma, a Bobotoh (Persib supporter) from Ciapus, Bogor Regency. The club, nicknamed Maung Bandung, requested the investigation be run comprehensively, professionally and transparently to deliver clarity and justice for the victim's family.

Arief was found deceased along Jakarta-Bogor Main Road KM 50, Cimandala Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency on the evening of Sunday 25 October. This incident occurred shortly after the Football fixture between Garudayaksa FC and Persib Bandung.

Through an official statement, the management of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat conveyed their deepest condolences to the victim's family. Persib also stated they respect the ongoing investigation process, and expressed hope that authorities will successfully uncover the full facts behind this incident.

"Persib respects the Running investigation process, and we hope law enforcement will be able to deliver clarity and justice for the late Arief's family," read the official Persib Bandung management statement received in Bandung on Monday.

For Persib, Arief's passing is not only grief for his immediate family, but also a loss for the entire extended club family. Bobotoh supporters have always been an integral part of Persib's journey, both for home matches and away fixtures.

Persib Visits Mourning Residence And Prepares Family Assistance

As a form of concern, representatives from PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat management have visited the mourning home to deliver condolences directly to Arief's family.

Persib has also confirmed they are ready to provide support and accompaniment according to the family's needs and within the club's authority. This assistance is intended to help the victim's family throughout the entire legal process.

This step serves as the club's show of solidarity with its supporters during this mourning period. Management emphasized that Bobotoh are an inseparable part of the Persib extended family, therefore safety and fundamental humanitarian values must remain a collective priority.

Alongside delivering support for the victim's family, Persib also called on all supporters to remain calm and entrust case handling to official authorities. The club appealed to Bobotoh to look out for one another, and avoid any actions that could aggravate the situation.

Management stated this case must be handled exclusively through formal legal channels, so that full facts can be revealed and any responsible parties can be processed in accordance with official regulations.

"Football should be a unifying space for communities, that upholds humanitarian values, mutual respect and brotherhood," stated Persib management.
